Introducing Seven Mile Story, a one of a kind speaking event where pastor/author/speaker, Ross Breitkreuz, shares the Bible as one unforgettable story in just one night. From "In the beginning" to "It is finished", Seven Mile Story showcases the Biblical narrative with inspiring passion, fresh perspective and without compromise.
Through a mixture of compelling storytelling and personal testimony, Ross draws listeners into the Bible in a way that is relatable, entertaining and brings the Bible to life. Seven Mile Story has been crafted to be an approachable, fun, entertaining outreach that's enjoyable for everyone and easy to invite friends to. No matter what someone's background or foreknowledge of the Bible is, this captivating delivery of the Gospel message draws in listeners. Seven Mile Story isn't simply an event, it's an invitation for people to find their place in God's story and then join your congregation on a regular basis to go deeper (this is an invitation that is extended to audiences at the end of every event).

Church is busy. You have a lot going on. That's why Seven Mile Story doesn't just aim to bless the community but also the leadership of the local Church. Having served in and alongside the Church for over a decade, Ross knows firsthand that "special events" can sometimes be taxing on leadership and volunteers. We work hard to ensure our demand on your staff team is minimal. We provide you with all marketing material, handle media for the event, and have minimal requirements to bring this to life. We want Seven Mile Story to be the one outreach event of your year where you don't have to do anything. Show up, be ministered to (or take the night off), and be blessed.
IGNITE PASSION FOR THE BIBLE
As leaders in ministry, we know the Bible is not what many people assume. It's not boring, irrelevant, and filled with rules. When people experience the passion of the Bible's seamless story, they can't view it that way either. It becomes a story they'd be crazy not to read, full with truth that speaks to hearts only the way the living Word of God can. As Bible literacy across North America continues to decline, we want to partner with churches equally excited to see people reading the Bible for themselves.

ABOUT ROSS BREITKREUZ
It's pronounced "bright-keh-rights"
Hi! I'm Ross.
After a devastating car accident left me with brain damage, clinical depression, news that I'd never play hockey again and a desire to end it all, Gods Word changed my life. I am passionate about the Bible, changing the way people experience it and inspiring people to encounter the living God of the Bible.
I believe when people experience the Bible as a passionate unbroken story, they can no longer view it as anything less than a book they'd be crazy not to read. Gods Word is living and active and does not return void. If I can use my gift as a communicator to inspire people to pick up a Bible and read it, I firmly believe the Holy Spirit will transform lives like it did mine.
I've served in ministry for over 10 years as an itinerant speaker, interim pastor, and most recently as associate pastor on Vancouver Island at Duncan Pentecostal Church. I'm a graduate of Briercrest College & Seminary and hold pastoral credentials through Fellowship Pacific. I've spoken throughout North America, written for magazines, been featured on podcasts, and partnered with many major Christian organizations. When I'm not on the road with Seven Mile Story I semi-regularly speak at my home church, Sicamous Community Church.

INVESTMENT:
Option #1: TICKET SALES
Host Church or organization invests $400.00 as a booking fee* and tickets are sold for the event (ticketing info listed below)
Option #2: 100% FREE EVENT
Host Church or organization invests $850.00 and the event is free for the entire community (no ticket sales), however, we can set the event up for people to RSVP if you are worried about #'s.
*Note that, whichever option you pick, this fee helps Ross with travel, food, accommodations, and is used to invest in online marketing for events. Beyond the booking fee there is ZERO expectation from your Church/Organization to provide Ross with accommodations, travel reimbursements or meals. Ross also does not make any requests for financial support from the audience.
EVENT LENGTH:
2.0 - 2.5 hours*
*This includes an intermission at around the 1 hour 15 min mark.
Start time: Commonly 6:00 PM (but depends on the community)

$7.50 - Online Advanced

MARKETING/ADVERTISING:
All marketing and advertising material for the event will be supplied by Ross.
Printable posters, social media posts, pre-written scripts for verbal announcements, and short videos for Sunday Mornings. If you require any other marketing material beyond this, it will be provided to you promptly. Ross also invests in online marketing for events and reaches out to other churches in the surrounding area to notify them of the evening.
DAY OF EVENT NEEDS:
Access to Facility 3hrs prior to the event
Use of in-house audio (1 wireless handheld mic)
Ability to use in-house media computer or to connect Ross' personal computer for event media
Space to set up a booth in the foyer or lobby
*Depending on the anticipated size of the event, Ross may request a volunteer or two to help with ticket sales and merch table. All volunteers receive free tickets for friends and family, and a gift from Ross.
**Ross almost always has his father with him on tour who manages/controls the media during the event. In the rare occasion Ross' Dad cannot join him, he may also request someone to manage media. This person will be provided with a thorough script to make the job simple and will receive free admission for friends and family and a gift from Ross.
